Hamilton fined by stewards in 2023 Qatar Grand Prix
Slapped with 50,000 euros fine

The stewards gave Lewis Hamilton a reprimand and fined him 50,000 euros for dangerously crossing a live track during the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix. Hamilton collided with his teammate George Russel on Turn 1 and ended up in the gravel trap ending his race. Upon exiting his car, Hamilton ran across the track just seconds before another car came by exiting the pits. This incident caused a dangerous situation according to the stewards, resulting to the penalty imposed.
